Tonight we spent some time with the leadership team of CLC talking about the kind of church we want to be. We passionately believe it is crucial for Christian Life Center to transition from a conversion culture to a transformation culture! That’s why we have adopted our vision statement as the following:
To create a place where people discover God, and experience His power in Life-changing ways.
1. Discover – the reality of God’s love & relationship
2. Experience – the power of His presence
3. Life-Change – the transformation of their life
This coming Sunday I'll talk more about what this means and how it needs to impacts our services at Christian Life Center.
Hope to see you there!

I was very impressed with your presentation last night, Pastor Del. God has given you such a clear, deep vision of what he wants this church to become, and I believe he has put you here at exactly the right time to take us to the next level.
I've been involved in other organizations where the leadership has started out with flashy plans and strategies...only to watch them fizzle and fade as things drifted back to "business as usual." One of the things I see in your outline is a depth that I really think can carry CLC forward. I want to encourage you to stick with it, keep your eyes on that summit, and go after what God has put on your heart.
Thank you, Gerald. Your encouragement means very much to me.
This might sound off-base, but I love old hymns --- and I always go to church hoping to sing a great old fashioned hymn in praise of God.
(probably my traditional Baptist upbringing...)
