What Am I Here To Do?

I believe that God has a purpose for everyone’s life and that there is great joy and fulfillment in discovering that purpose. At CLC it is part of our responsibility to help you find and discover YOUR purpose!

Personally, I’ve defined mine to be a positive influence in the lives of others, leading them closer to God. Based on that purpose, these six core values guide my life:

1. It's all about God.
2. It’s more about Marvina than any other person and my children are next.
3. It’s a lot about ministry.
4. It can't happen without character and integrity.
5. I will grow during the journey and enjoy the journey.
6. I will influence others for the sake of Gods Kingdom.

If, when my days on earth are through, people can say I had a positive impact on their lives and pointed them toward God I will have accomplished what I was put on this earth to do.

If you're wondering what God's purpose for your life might consist of, and you need clarity on why you're here, all you have to do is ask! He's waiting to reveal His purpose for YOUR life!

What Am I Here To Do?
A lover of Jesus for 40 years, A wife for 32 years, mother of 5, caretaker of 4 animals. With the daily routine of laundry, dishes, cooking, cleaning, picking up after all, grocery shopping...my life, others might consider mundane. However, those days, I take time to open His Word, to worship Him, to pray & seek His face...He takes my repetitive mundane tasks and brings refreshment to my soul, He restores my joy. For I know whatever my hands find to do...these are my acts service unto the Lord.
One Sunday morning the church bulletin read, "A place for me". During my personal worship time I penned the words ... "What is my part, Lord, you know my heart, a place for me, speak Lord, I'm listening." Oh what joy to hear His small still voice... may I always be caught listening.

A Place For Me(I'm Listening Lord)
Written in the Lord’s service

Why am - I here?
Taking space, breathing air.
Days go so fast,
Before I breathe my last.
Striving, seeking
Running and reaching
For a star
My dreams – seem so far

Then I wonder - Lord - can You use me?
Here I am – Lord - please send me.

Is there a place for me - In all life’s scheme?
A place for me - My destiny.
In Your plan – Can - You use these hands?
What’s my part? – Lord - You hold my heart.
A place for me – Speak - Lord, I’m listening.

Who needs - to hear?
About Your love, how much You care.
Days go so fast,
Before they breathe their last.
Dying – They’re desperate
No hope – No answer
Who will go
Sharing whom they know.

Then I wonder – Lord - can you use me?
Here I am – Lord - please send me.

Is there a place for me - in all life’s scheme?
A place for me - my destiny.
In your plan – can - You use these hands?
What is my part? – Lord - You hold my heart.
A place for me - Speak – Lord, I’m listening.
I’m listening, Lord I’m listening to you, I'm listening Lord, I am listening to you.

Why am - I here?
Taking space, breathing air.

very good thinking of this. The order clearly shows your priorities in life which is a great thing to know. I see it enough in high school that many people do not know what they want in life or how to live it. Clearly, you do.

Pastor, I will be in your area for the month of July 9th / Aug 8th. I am looking for a church to feed my family. I have two young children 3 & 2 and my wife and we need a church to move us forward in God plan. I use the term FEED as a yearning for God's food, not cheese steaks, but I won't turn any down. My name is Craig Mellon and I am a Bensalem native graduate of Bensalem 1984 and would love to speak to you about your Ministry. My number is 559-834-335 work and 559-940-3335 cell. Not sure if this is the right spot to write this, Just was inspired......... God Is great!!!
