Every church is driven by something. Tradition, finances, programs, personalities, events, and even buildings can each be the controlling force in a church. However, my prayer for you and CLC is for the following absolutes to be the driving force that influence us as individuals and as a church family:
1. God is big. He will be as big as we allow him to be.
2. God is good. He does not intentionally will that evil should befall us.
3. God is wise. The things that happen to us have been screened by Him.
4. God is love. His compassion is His supreme motivation.
5. God can do anything. Nothing is too difficult for him!
May it be so!
