Why did you fire two pastors that were doing good?
Mike, If you were present during our All-Church Council meeting in March you will remember the financial report reflecting a deficit of over $210,000.00. I had stated during that meeting more layoffs would be forthcoming unless we saw a dramatic increase in weekly revenues.
Sadly, at that time we had no choice but to follow thru with those layoffs. Currently, however, we are beginning to see a slight increase in weekly giving...thank God.
But I thought the land accross the street was suppose to be sold to make up for th emoney deficit. We voted on it when we elected you our Senior pastor.
Unfortunately, the land sale hasn't happened yet. As with all real estate, with the current state of the economy, it's been a tough year.
Thanks for doing a great job leading our Church! I know it hasn't been easy inheriting some of the mess from Pastor Cawston. I have been and will always keep you in prayer!!!
